A short call first
Twenty minutes to work out whether this problem is real on your vessel. If it is not, we will say so.
Then the survey
Remote where that works, on board where it does not. Findings in writing either way.
No pressure to continue
The survey is useful on its own. Several vessels will read it and simply fix three things themselves.
